How can you not love Terry Crews?
He is probably the most funniest, jacked actor out there. Just look at him.
And then he pulls this stunt while promoting the first Expendables in ringing the opening bell at the New York Stock exchange.
Anyways, there is a highly anticipated movie I waiting for this summer that he is in which is a sequel to the first one called Expendables 2. It’s basically an action star buffet!!! ACTION ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!
Well in preparation for the first movie, Terry Crews shows us a workout that he uses called the “24″.
The workout is:
- Upright row
- Power Clean
- Romanin Deadlift
- Jump Squats
You do all the exercises back to back without any rest and you do 6 reps each. You do it over and over until you have done 4 rounds of it. No break!
I hate how Terry Crews makes it look so easy with just plates on the barbell. But I actually had to humble self and use 20lbs on each side of the barbell and I was struggling with it.
Few tips of advice:
- Start off with a lighter weight. TRUST ME. Humble yourself and try it at least for the first round.
- I’m no expert on the power clean but I hopefully will learn when I join Crossfit Atlanta and join their olympic weight lifting classes. Once I master it, I’ll share it. So here is a video on how to do it.
- For dead lift, make sure you are always looking up and your back is straight.
- When placing the weights on your shoulders for jump squats, be careful it doesn’t hit your neck on the way down.
