I just wanted to give you an update.
I went to Crossfit College Park for my intro class in the morning. I met the trainers Jo and Mitch and they seemed very friendly and super cool. I already liked the atmosphere thus far. Jo ended up coaching me and guiding me through crossfit nuances, techniques, and terminology.
The beginner WOD (Work Out of the Day) I did was:
- 400 meter run
- 50 box jumps on 24 inch box
- 40 sit ups
- 30 push ups
- 20 pull ups
- 10 wall balls (throw medicine ball up in the air and do a squat as you catch it)
I finished as prescribed and did it in 8 min 39 seconds. I definitely do think I can do it 1-2 minutes faster. And even though I didn’t seem worn out from the WOD, I felt nauseous after and couldn’t eat my post meal.
Anyways, going to the 2nd foundations class tomorrow and I can’t wait!
