I’m back!

What up my ninjaz!!!

I’m back! Sorry that it’s been awhile. I know I went off the grid but so many things have happened since I last updated you guys.

One major change that has happened since I went paleo and lost a lot of weight is that I’m now involved with Crossfit. I got so deep into it that I was able to become a Level 1 Trainer (This was so by God’s blessing that I got this.)

I know before I wrote about Paleo and body composition. But now I’ll be shifting the focus of Ninja Fitness to “constantly varied, high intensity, functional movement”.  So from health and “looking good naked” to human performance. Educating people about Crossfit.

And I got new goals now. My current goal is to make Crossfit regionals in 2014 for the Southeast and that is no small goal. That is actually a tall order. Just as I tracked my progress with me getting ripped, I will keep you posted on the training that I’m doing. So far I’m just trying to get gymnastic movements down(two consecutive ring muscles ups is current goal), getting my strength up (There are monsters  in strength out there!) and I want to get mentally stronger.

“The worst thing I can be is the same as everybody else. I’d hate that.” – Arnold Schwarzenegger

Results Are Earned. Not Given. Work Hard!

Results Are Earned. Not Given. Work Hard!

Work Out!

I got this motivational quote from Simply Shredded. I know I haven’t been posting but I’ll get back to it real soon!

No Matter What!

This is me training for Tough Mudder Georgia 2012 at Stone Mountain. It was raining, sleeting a few times, windy, thundering, and the rocks started to get slippery to step on. I got up that morning and when I heard the rain and thunder, I wanted to skip the workout and sleep in. But if you set a goal, you need to attack that goal with a ninja frenzy!!! Attack that goal NO MATTER WHAT!

Consistency is Key

Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.” – Robert Collier

Pictured above is Georges St. Pierre (GSP) winning UFC 83 in a rematch with Matt Serra. GSP is also ranked #2 pound for pound fighter in MMA (mixed martial arts). GSP has 18 wins and 2 loses in the UFC. He is the current welter weight champion of his division.

So what does Georges St. Pierre have to do with consistency?

Make It Happen!

Don’t just talk and dream about getting healthier and being in shape. MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Things To Learn From Jack Lalanne

[This is Jack Lalanne at 71 years old!]

“Everything you do in life, I don’t care, good or bad – don’t blame God, don’t blame the devil, don’t blame me, blame you. You control everything! The thoughts you think, the words you utter, the foods you eat, the exercise you do. Everything is controlled by you.”Jack Lalanne

Old school train of thought and fitness still have a place in this world today. Old school was about the no B.S. approach and just do it! That’s why I admire and respect Jack Lalanne. He was considered the godfather of fitness. Even though he past away at 96, the things that he said about fitness and nutrition back then are still echoed today.
